ABOUT ME

I'm a New York City-based amateur street photographer. I've been photographing the streets for a while now. I enjoy observing people and learning about their individual stories. A simple walk can reveal the streets' hidden beauty. Simply by observing and paying attention to what is going on around you, you can unlock the secrets of life and create an amazing story.

When I'm out on the streets, I use both digital and film cameras. I began processing my own film at home because it is less expensive and I enjoy seeing the finished product. I'm always excited to see how the photos are being processed, and it's very therapeutic, especially when I'm stressed.

Street photography is all about capturing a fraction of a second before it vanishes in the blink of an eye. Every photograph has a story to tell, which is why I take them.

Here are my favorite quotes from my favorite Street Photographers.

"To me, photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event." –Henri Cartier-Bresson

“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place…I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” -- Elliott Erwitt

“We have to make room for other people. It's a wheel – you get on, you go to the end, and someone else has the same opportunity to go to the end, and so on, and somebody else takes their place.” --Vivian Maier
